President's Message

Five years ago, if you had told me I would one day serve as President of CFCALA, I wouldn’t have believed you. The idea of taking charge of a room and being a leader that others turn to felt intimidating and, honestly, a little scary.

What this year has taught me is that leadership doesn’t mean having all the answers. It means listening to your peers, showing up consistently, and helping move things forward through small, positive changes. In doing that, you are leading.

I am incredibly grateful to the membership for trusting me with this role and for giving me the space to grow and stretch my skills. Serving as President has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional journey, and that is because of the people who make up this chapter.
